Bhubaneswar (Odisha) – Sarangi, a former civil servant in Odisha, has raised a complaint that his daughter fell victim to love jihad. He has accused a young man named Abdur Rahman of trapping their only daughter in a love affair. Sarangi has appealed to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating, ‘If immediate action is not taken for the release of my daughter, her life may be in danger.’

1. The retired civil servant has released a video demanding the Government to save his daughter at any cost. In the video, former civil servant Sarangi is accompanied by his wife. They reside in Bhubaneswar. Sarangi stated in the video that in 2018, his daughter fell victim to love jihad. Upon investigation, they found the girl in the Mawana area of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

2. Sarangi’s wife expressed further concerns, saying,” After the tragic incident involving a girl named Neha Hiremath from Karnataka, we are extremely worried. Our only daughter has fallen victim to love jihad. We have made numerous efforts to free her from this situation, but we have been unsuccessful. Some administrative officials are pressuring us. The Government needs to take concrete steps before our daughter’s situation worsens. We implore Yogi Adityanath to assist us. My husband served the country for 35 years. If anything happens to our only daughter, we will not be able to bear it.”
