Two Hindus injured in a knife attack by fanatic Muslims during the Ram Navami procession in Davangere, Karnataka.

An incident from Davanagere

Davanagere (Karnataka) – During the Shriram Navami festival at Nallur Camp in Channagiri taluk, some fanatic Muslim youths attacked Hindu youths with knives. Hanumant and Gopal, 2 Hindu youths, were seriously injured in this assault. They are currently receiving treatment at McGANN Hospital in Shivamogga. A case has been registered at the local Police station regarding this incident. Similar attacks on Hindus also occurred on the day of Shriram Navami in 2022.

Injured Gopal told a local news channel, “We were distributing Sherbet and Salad to people on the day of Shriram Navami when some youths from another religious community verbally abused us. Suddenly, these youths attacked me, stabbing me in the stomach with a knife.”
