Clashes between jail inmates’ leaves 2 dead and 2 injured in Sangrur Jail, Punjab
Sangrur (Punjab) – In a prison here, two inmates died and two got injured in clashes amongst inmates. The injured are being treated at a hospital and their condition is critical. The names of the deceased have been identified as Harsh and Dharmendra. Gagandeep Singh and Mohammad Shahbaz are in critical condition.
Sources informed, Simranjeet Singh aka Juzar along with 8 of his cronies attacked Mohammad Shahbaz and his cronies with cutters. Simarjeet is the head of Juzar gang. He is a resident of Rasulpur Kaler, Amritsar. He has been charged under Section 302, 307 and 18 various counts of extortion. He has been in jail for almost 6 years.
