Police refuse to register a Hindu girl’s complaint 10 times in 2 years citing domestic matter

Hindu girl victim of ‘love jihad’

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – A 27-year-old Hindu girl from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, who is a victim of Love Jihad, was repeatedly abused by members of her Muslim family. Following this, the victim Hindu girl tried 10 times in the last 2 years to register a complaint in Satara Police station against the religious fanatic Muslims who were abusing her; however, the Police refused to register her complaint saying that it is a domestic matter. Surprisingly, the Police kept the victim Hindu girl waiting in the Police station for hours. Satara Police registered a case of rape and cheating against the accused Taher Pathan on 11 ^th April after the journalist of Sudarshan News Channel assisted the Hindu girl.

Police Inspector Brahma Giri said, “Investigation will be conducted under the sections registered against the accused”. A case under section 376, 420, 504 and 506 has been registered against accused Taher Pathan along with 3 others.

What is the case ?

The religious fanatics – Taher Pathan, Tayyab Pathan, Ayesha Pathan, and Lailabi Pathan tortured the Hindu girl and forced her to convert to Islam by luring her and also taught her Quran and fed her beef. A case has been registered against these fanatics in the Satara Police station of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar under various sections.

• Do such Police belong to India or are they from Pakistan ? Strict action should be taken against such insensitive and antisocial Police officials. When will the senior officers understand that the Police department is maligned due to the behavior of such Police officials ?

• Had there been a Muslim girl in place of the Hindu girl, would the Police have behaved in the similar way ?

• Police fear the consequences of acting against Muslims, but they have no fear of Hindus. Hence, they have been treating Hindus unfairly for many years. Hindus must now unite and fight in a legitimate way to change this situation.
