Russia strikes Ukraine with 3 missiles, 17 people killed
Kyiv/Moscow – Russia fired 3 missiles in Chernihiv, Ukraine. At least 17 people were killed and 61 injured in the attack. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy confirmed the attack.
1. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy issued a statement. He said, “If Ukraine had enough air defense equipment, such attacks would not have happened. Terrorists kill civilians only when they feel that someone is succeeding in stopping them and is always in readiness to deal with them.”
2. When Russia-Ukraine war broke out, Russian troops surrounded Chernihiv from all the sides. In retaliation Ukrainian air-force pushed Russian troops away from the area. Later when normalcy resumed, citizens had returned to the city.
3. Chernihiv is located at 150 km from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
