Religious fanatics stuffed samosas with condoms, pan masala, and stones due to not getting the contract

A religious fanatic was arrested, and four were charged in connection with the incident

Pimpri (District Pune) – A sinister plot unfolded after a contractor lost the bid for supplying samosas to an establishment. In a vengeful act, the ousted contractor conspired to sabotage the samosas supplied by the new contractor. Some workers, allegedly sent by the former contractor, adulterated the samosas with condoms, Vimal pan masala, and stones. This incident recently came to light in Chikhli. Feroze Sheikh aka Mantu has been arrested in connection with the case, and a case has been registered against Rahim Shaikh, Azhar Shaikh, Mazar Shaikh, and Vicky Shaikh, owners of Enterprises. Kirti Kumar Desai, Assistant General Manager of Catalyst Service Solutions Partners Private. Ltd., complained to Chikhli Police Station regarding the matter.

According to the police, the complainant Desai’s establishment secured the contract to supply food to the canteen of Tata Motors Company in the jurisdiction of Chikhli police station. Initially, Desai’s establishment, formerly known as S.R.S. in Morwadi, had an agreement with Enterprises to supply samosas. However, Desai terminated the contract with S.R.S. after finding a first aid kit in one of the samosas provided by them. Subsequently, Desai’s establishment, Catalyst Service Solutions Partners Pvt. Ltd., agreed with Manohar Enterprises to supply samosas from May. To tarnish the reputation of Desai’s establishment and disrupt his contract with the prestigious Tata Motors Company, the owners of S.R.S., namely Rahim Shaikh, Azar Shaikh, and Mazar Shaikh, instructed their workers Feroze and Vicky to sabotage the samosas at Manohar Enterprises’ factory. As per their instructions, Feroze and Vicky adulterated some samosas with condoms, while others were filled with stones and Vimal Pan Masala, a tobacco product. A case has been registered following the revelation of this scandal, and the Chikhli police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
