ISI interferes with the judicial proceedings : Allege 6 judges of Islamabad High Court
Islamabad (Pakistan) – Six judges of the Islamabad High Court have alleged that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, has been interfering in judicial proceedings. In this regard, one of the judges has written a letter to the Supreme Judicial Council, requesting its intervention. In the letter, details have been provided regarding how certain ISI officers interfere and influence the Court proceedings.
A judge was compelled to resign due to such interference and propaganda. Subsequently, discussions were held with senior officials of the intelligence agency; however, a viable solution was not reached.
