The victim’s condition worsened due to this incident that took place on 28th March and she was admitted to the hospital. This incident has caused a widespread anger leading to Hindu organisations protesting in front of the Police Station. Accused Shakir is on the run and the Police are searching for him. The incident took place in the area under the jurisdiction of ​​Mianwali Nagar Police Station.

Accused Shakir lives in a rented house next to the girl’s house. The owner of this house is Hindu. (Hindus need to decide who to rent a house and who not to ! – Editor) Shakir picked up the girl and took her to his house while she was playing near the house and raped her there. Hearing the girl’s cry, people rushed towards Shakir’s house. Seeing people coming, Shakir released the girl and fled.

The victim’s father said that when he tried to nab Shakir, he said, ‘What are you Hindu going to do ? I did what I had to do’.
