US indirectly slams China : Calls Arunachal Pradesh an Indian territory
Washington (United States) – ‘The United States recognises Arunachal Pradesh as Indian territory. Any form of encroachment, be it military or civilian, across the Line of Actual Control (LAC) or attempts to claim any territory unilaterally, is erroneous and opposed by us’, the United States indirectly rebuked China with these words. A few days ago, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Sela tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh. Following this, China reiterated its claim on Arunachal Pradesh. In response, the United States has now made the above statement.
Editorial Perspective
Words are enough to convince a wise. But China is not wise, it is shrewd. Hence, it must be taught a lesson in an appropriate language. |
