‘Swatantryaveer Savarkar’, the Marathi film, cannot be released on 22nd March 2024

Mumbai – Millions of Hindus worldwide eagerly awaited the release of ‘Swatantryaveer Savarkar’ on 22nd March. However, the Censor Board granted the permission letter for the Hindi version of the film only on the afternoon of 21st March. Permission for the Marathi version could only be sought after the Hindi version was cleared. Reliable sources informed ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ about this, making it unlikely for the Marathi film to be released in Maharashtra on 22nd March. This has sparked outrage among Hindus everywhere.
According to sources, Censor Board official Syed Rabi Hashmi caused significant delays in the film’s release, interrogating the producers extensively and granting permission to the Hindi version at the last moment. Notably, the film received immediate clearance in Britain, but faced obstacles from the Indian Censor Board. The board’s obstructive, possibly Hinduphobic stance is said to be the reason for delaying the film’s release.
When ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ representatives contacted Syed Rabi Hashmi, the regional officer of the Censor Board, about this issue, he stated, “We only communicate with the applicant regarding film matters.” Hashmi is the same official who had created obstacles for the release of the film ‘Chhatrapati Sambhaji’ two months ago. He had demanded evidence for the historical event where Aurangzeb pressured Sambhaji Maharaj to convert to Islam. (This incident reveals a pattern that Muslims prioritise their religion over other identities, suggesting that Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur should take action against such officials, as per Hindu sentiment – Editor)

SICKENING!
Marathi version of #SwatantryaVeerSavarkar won’t be aired in Maharashtra on March 22!
Thanks to the anti-Hindu and the left-liberal agenda of the #CBFC – the censor board.

Producer-director-writer and actor Randeep Hooda invested everything in this film
Randeep Hooda has made extraordinary efforts for producing this film. Not only did he lose 30 kilos to portray Savarkar, but he also sold his house to fund the project. Additionally, he took on the roles of producer, director, writer and actor simultaneously.
