Ban on Kashmir separatist Yasin Malik’s organisation extended
Srinagar – The Union Government has extended the ban on separatist leader Yasin Malik’s ‘J&K Liberation Front’ for 5 years. This organisation was banned in the year 2019 by the Union Home Ministry. The organisation was involved in activities propagating terrorism and separatism in J&K.
Those challenging the integrity of the nation will face harsh consequences – Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said anyone posing a threat to the security, sovereignty and integrity of the nation will have to face stringent legal action. The Government will be harsh towards the citizens and organisations involved in terrorist activities.
Another four organisations also banned
The Union Home Ministry has banned ‘J&K Peoples League’, ‘J&K P. L. (Mukhtar Ahmad Vaza)’, ‘J&K P. L.’ (Basheer Ahmad Tota), ‘J&K P. L.’ (Gulam Mohammad Khan) and ‘J&K P. L.’ (Ajeez Shaikh).
