Khalistani terrorist in US Gurpatwant Singh Pannun threatens to kill India’s ambassador to Canada
New York (USA) – The banned Khalistani terrorist organisation ‘Sikhs for Justice’ threatened to kill India’s Ambassador to Canada, Mr Sanjay Kumar Verma while he was on a visit to Surrey, a city in the British Columbia province of the USA. The organisation’s founder – Gurpatwant Singh Pannun – said in an Email threat that Khalistan supporters had an opportunity to target Verma in Surrey.
1. After receiving information about the threat, the Indian ambassador has informed the Canadian authorities in this regard. The authorities have assured them of security.

2. On 18th June 2023, Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed in the parking lot of a Gurdwara in Surrey. Pannun alleged that the killing was done on the orders of the Indian Government. Pannun further said that the chance to avenge the murder had come in the form of Verma’s visit to Surrey. (A Khalistani terrorist, who is a US citizen, threatens to kill an Indian Ambassador and the USA takes no action against him. India should protest with the US over this serious issue.
