It is a propaganda that Muslims will lose their citizenship due to the CAA – Syed Jainulabdeen, Ajmer Dargah’s Diwan
Jainulabdeen appeals to settle the Kashi and Mathura disputes amicable outside the Court
Ajmer (Rajasthan) – “The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is intended to grant Indian citizenship to refugees from neighboring countries. This act will not revoke the citizenship of any Indian Muslim. It is a propaganda that Muslims would lose their citizenship due to the CAA”, clarified Dewan Syed Jainulabdeen of Moinuddin Chishti Dargah here addressing the Muslims. He was speaking at a press conference. He wasasked if the CAA is against Muslims. He also appealed to both the parties to resolve the Kashi and Mathura disputes outside the Court.

Points presented by Jainulabdeen:
I am saying what the Home Minister said in the Parliament. Everyone in the Parliament has said that the CAA is for those who have migrated to India from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Myanmar and are currently living here. Are people from these countries given Indian citizenship currently ? No. This law is only for them. Why are Muslims in India afraid ? This law is not for them. This does not revoke their citizenship. That’s all. Let me tell you that ‘CAA has been brought to deprive Muslims of citizenship’ was a propaganda spread among the Indian Muslim community.
Solve Kashi Mathura disputes outside the Court and avoid acrimony – Syed Jainulabdeen
The dispute over the temples at Kashi and Mathura is still pending before the Court. So, it cannot be commented on. Based on our past experience, we feel that it is in the best interests of both the parties if this issue is settled out of Court. This will avoid acrimony between both sides. There will be peace. Because whoever gets a favourable verdict, will be happy and the other party will be unhappy. So why go for it ?
Ajmer Dargah’s Dewan Syed Zainul Abedin’s honest opinion.
Mu$l!ms are misled about #CAA, their citizenship will not be snatched away.

The importance of religion and politics – Syed Jainulabdeen
In the past there were religious leaders guiding the royal families. After discussing with them, the king would take decisions. Today, however, a new picture has been created that ‘religion is politics’. Gita Press at Gorakhpur is the most famous in India. This press has the ‘Sri Kalyan’ edition of 1957. It is a very thick book. In the verse on page number 771 and 772 of that book, it is said, ‘If power is separated from religion, power becomes a widow and if religion is separated from power, religion becomes a widower.

There were Hindu temples at Kashi and Mathura. Jainulabdeen is expected to ask Muslims to handover these sites to Hindus. |
