Jaipur – Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has decided to end the ‘VIP’ culture in Rajasthan. While the Chief Minister travels, his fleet of cars will now follow ‘traffic signals’ like the general public. He has taken this decision keeping in mind the trouble caused to the common people due to the traffic jam. It is being said that this decision will be an important milestone in moving towards ending the ‘VIP’ culture in Rajasthan.
1. Bhajanlal Sharma suggested that the fleet of cars will stop when the traffic gets a red signal while the convoy of the Chief Minister’s cars is passing.
2. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that this decision has been taken to relieve the common man from the frequent traffic jams during the road travel of dignitaries and also to relieve the patients from suffering during these jams.
3. On February 21, Chief Minister Rajasthan Director General of Police U.R. Sahu was informed about this decision.
Relief to common people from traffic jams!
Director General of Police U.R. Sahu said that there will be no change in the security cover provided to the Chief Minister. A new arrangement has been decided to keep in mind the traffic problems faced by common citizens and patients while VIPs travel.
