Mangaon (Maharashtra) – Problems faced by temples cannot be solved by preserving our ego. Come together as ‘Mandir Rakshak’ if you truly want to solve these problems and work for the protection of temples and Dharma. Only then, Hindus’ voices will be heard. Yuvaraj Lakhamraje Bhosale of Sawantwadi Sansthan appealed to the participants while inaugurating the ‘Maharashtra Mandir Nyas’ Convention.

Many problems are faced by temples but politicians have no interest in solving them. Hindus need to work for the release of temples from the Government’s control and solve temples’ problems.

The young generation is the power of Hindu Dharma. Young people should come forward for the protection of Hindus. Go to temples in Indian clothes as per Indian culture.

Waqf Board and missionaries are strong due to the power of unity. Hindus, however, don’t come together for temples.

Temple trustees should unite through the medium of ‘Maharashtra Mandir Nyas’ Convention. Temple trustees from Sindhudurg should come together. The unification should, therefore, be done at the taluka level. We shall contribute to bringing all temple trustees together. We extend support to this drive.

Release 277 temples from Sindhudurg in western Maharashtra from Govt control and let the devotees manage devotees ! – Sunil Ghanwat, HJS

Sunil Ghanwat, HJS

Hindus are struggling to get back temples in Sindhudurg from Government clutches, but the struggle is going on at an individual level. Narrow-mindedness is Hindus’ problem. When Hindus all over India raise their voice for temples in Sindhudurg, the problems faced by temples will be solved due to extensive unification. Temples at many places in Sindhudurg District have been closed due to internal disputes and ego. Unfortunately, temples have been closed down for such reasons. We should be alert and see that anti-Hindu Dharma factions don’t take benefits from such disputes. There are hundreds of temples in Sindhudurg District which are managed by Pashchim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti (Samiti) but this Samiti doesn’t do anything other than take money from donation boxes kept in the temples. Why should we feed this white elephant in the form of Samiti which knows only its rights and is not bothered about its duties ? We, therefore, demand the release of 277 temples in Sindhudurg under the management of this Samiti and let them be handed over to devotees.

…..Hindu Rashtra will be established through the medium of temples – Sunil Ghanwat, HJS

With the making of Shriram Temple in Ayodhya, a lot of enthusiasm has been created across the world. With the construction of one temple, Hindus are uniting in India. The construction of temples will, therefore, help in establishing Hindu Rashtra in India through united Hindus. If one Jarange Patil could force the Government to decide on the reservation, wouldn’t the problems faced by temples be solved if the trustees of all temples come together, asked Mr Ghanwat on the occasion ?

Development of a temple is the duty of its trustees – Dilip Deshmukh, former Charity Commissioner

When Shriram was in exile, brother Bharat solely managed His kingdom. Trustees should manage the temples as servants. They should realise that God is the owner of these temples. Trustees have no right to cause harm to the temple’s wealth. They should have legal knowledge regarding temples and should study ‘The Maharashtra Public Trust Act’ for this purpose. The constitution of the temple should be known to its trustees. Devasthan’s lands are taken over by other people due to disputes among the trustees. The temple trustees must preserve the movable and immovable properties of temples.

We need to work for revival of temple culture – Sadguru Swati Khadaye, Dharmapracharak, Sanatan Sanstha

Temples have been the centres of education on Dharma since ancient times. Temples have also been instrumental in keeping alive our Dharma and culture. Our different Rulers constructed temples and helped in promoting temple culture. People still feel attached to temples in this age of science and technology which is remarkable. Temples can undertake the important mission of bringing together people, who are Hindus by birth, and make them active in the protection of Hindus. Temples are not only religious places, but they are a kind of culture; therefore, we have to work for the revival of temple culture.
