Why accused Sheikh Shahjahan has not been arrested yet ? : Calcutta High Court slams TMC Govt
Sandeshkhali violence case
Kolkata (Bengal) – Trinamool Congress leader Sheikh Shahjahan has been accused of sexually abusing Hindu women in Bengal’s Sandeshkhali. The Calcutta High Court reprimanded the Trinamool Congress Government in this case. The Court said, ‘It has been 18 days since this matter came to light. The key accused of this whole issue is still absconding. This is shocking. There are charges against him. We don’t know if he is being supported or not; but it is certain that he has not been caught yet. Shahjahan cannot be encouraged by the State in this way.’ The Court allowed Bengal’s opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari to visit violence hit Sandeshkhali during this hearing.

The Court added, ‘Prima facie it appears that Shahjahan did harm the people. Even if one of the allegations against him is true, he should be investigated. You are bothering people for no reason. Law and order problem has arisen in the State. He cannot disobey the law. Let us see if he appears in the Court. We will ask him to surrender.’

Editorial Perspective
This proves that in Bengal, Jihadi rule prevails and the rule of law ! Based on this, the Union Government should dissolve the Trinamool Congress Government and impose President’s rule there. |
