Taliban threatens to partition Pakistan and create another Bangladesh
Angry Pakistanis blame India for this
Islamabad (Pakistan) – Tensions between Pakistan and Taliban-ruled Afghanistan remain constant. Afghanistan has threatened Pakistan that it will ‘partition Pakistan into parts like 1971’. This has angered Pakistanis. Pakistan says that India has done a lot of development in Afghanistan, and hence, the Taliban Government there is leaning towards India. In 1971, the eastern part of Pakistan was separated and became Bangladesh.
1. A video has gone viral on social media. In this, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Taliban administration, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, is seen threatening to ‘divide Pakistan like 1971’. The Taliban had made this threat a few months ago when Pakistan began expelling lakhs of Afghan refugees from the country.
2. Pakistani YouTuber Sana Amjad discussed this with people. In this, a Pakistani respondent said, ‘Pakistan has made a mistake by supporting America in the war. That’s why the Taliban is angry with us.
3. Another respondent said, ‘We are divided into sects and provinces. Once we sheltered Afghans and now, we are driving them away. Pakistan’s foreign policy decisions are beyond comprehension. Pakistan has damaged relations with everyone. Relations with Afghanistan, Iran and India have deteriorated. Had relations with India been good, our situation would not have become worse’.
4. When a young woman was asked whether the Taliban is using such language because of India’s support, she said, ‘We should not blame others’.
5. Another respondent said that if there was a fight with the Taliban, there could be many reasons; however, Pakistan would never want this.
Editorial Perspective
Looking at the disorder in Pakistan, the country is likely to break into more than 4 parts. In the coming time, Pakistan as a country will cease to exist on the world map. This is a fact and Pakistani sympathisers in India should be aware of this ! |
