Polarisation is the biggest social threat globally, say experts
Washington (USA) – The World Economic Forum (WEF) has said that polarisation is the biggest social threat globally. The WEF has expressed this opinion after taking the opinion of 1,500 global leaders. The forum has also said that this challenge can be overcome by mutual cooperation. Michael Muthukrishna, Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics, says that the spirit of working together is the greatest strength of humanity. There is always a risk of conflict, but the science of cooperation shows that we can overcome great challenges by creating a friendly and harmonious environment. We just need to strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation.
When people work with more people to achieve a goal, a sense of cooperation is created. Muthukrishna says, ‘This is the law of cooperation. The risk of trade war between two countries is reduced due to mutual benefits. By working together, we can address the world’s biggest challenges like division, polarisation, and climate change.’
Editorial perspective
The teaching of ‘Sarvetra Sukhin: Santu…’ in Hinduism is the same. Without spirituality, science is of no use for true cooperation. It is important to note here that human society needs to practice this. |
