Breaking the Kalash and creating a dome on the walls does not constitute a part of the Ganga-Jamuni culture
Raja Bhaiya, the President, and MLA of the Democratic Party exposes the pretence of Muslims in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly
(Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb is a culture that represents the alleged unity between Hindus and Muslims living on the banks of the rivers Ganga and Yamuna. Only Hindus are pressured to follow it.) |
Lucknow/Laxmanpuri (UP) – “Breaking the Kalash (the pinnacle of a Hindu Temple) and creating a dome on the walls does not constitute a part of the Ganga-Jamuni culture. It is evident that Hindu temples were destroyed by the invaders,” stated Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, President of the Uttar Pradesh Democratic Party and MLA, during his discourse in the Legislative Assembly amidst the budget debate.
Points articulated by MLA Raja Bhaiya
1. Prabhu Shriram was discussed the most in the assembly. Even those who believe in Ram Manohar Lohia will agree that Lohia organised the ‘Ramayan Jatra’ every year to inspire ordinary people to emulate the ideals of Shriram. (Lohia was a socialist and progressive leader.)
2. Lohia himself proclaimed that “Babur, Ghazni, Ghori, Aurangzeb were robbers”. Ras Khan and Rahim were our ancestors. It is essential to emphasise this point, especially considering recent attempts to disrupt the prevailing atmosphere. Take, for instance, the situation in Haldwani. While the Government is striving diligently to maintain peace in our State, there remains a lingering suspicion that efforts are underway to disturb the tranquillity.
3. The puja in Vyasji’s basement at Gyanvapi has been conducted uninterruptedly for hundreds of years. This fact deserves global attention. It was prohibited by the local administration in 1993. No Court has banned this puja.
4. Through this House, we will also pay homage to the priest who safeguarded the key to Vyasji’s basement lock for 31 years, steadfast in his belief that one day a Government will come into power to unlock it.
5. Allama Iqbal was the first person to express the sentiment that “Hindus and Muslims cannot coexist”. Dr Jinnah, the ideological father of Pakistan, who advocated for a separate Muslim nation, had also said that Hindus and Muslims cannot coexist. This is what led to the partition. As a result, the poem ‘Sare Jahan Se Accha’ remains unfinished. In this poem penned in 1910, it was said that India, China and Arab are all our nations and they are all Islamic nations.
6. We’ve been fortunate to witness the magnificent temple of Prabhu Shriram in our lifetime. I also hold the belief that, after Adi Shankaracharya, if anyone is spearheading the revival of Sanatan Dharma and the upliftment of Hindus, it is Narendra Modi.
If we follow the actions of Babur and Aurangzeb, we will never achieve peace. The Shriram Temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and the Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi have become the target of aggressors. – MLA Raja Bhaiya |
Editorial Perspective
It is notable that at least now, Raja Bhaiya has remembered this. Now, he should strive for the liberation of the Kashi Vishwanath and Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi, which is what Hindus desire. |
