CAA to be implemented before Lok Sabha elections : Union Home Minister Amit Shah
New Delhi – Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) will be implemented before the Lok Sabha elections. Speaking at a programme in New Delhi, Amit Shah said that the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will get more than 300 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, while the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance will get more than 400 seats.

Regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’, Amit Shah said that the descendants of the Nehru-Gandhi family have no right to hold such a march; because his party was responsible for the partition of the country in 1947.
Releasing white paper is necessary to know the misdeeds of the Congress-led Government! – Amit Shah
In a White Paper (on the information presented on a subject) submitted by the Government of India in the Parliament, Amit Shah said that the country had every right to know the misdeeds committed by the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance before it lost power in 2014. After 10 years our Government has given strength to the economy. Foreign investment came in and there was no corruption. So now is the right time to release the white paper.
The people of this country have wished for 500 years that Shriram Mandir should be built in Ayodhya.
Speaking on the topic of Shriram Mandir in Ayodhya, Amit Shah said that the people of the country have wanted for 500-550 years to build a temple at the place where Shriram was born. When other parties were in power, the construction of Shriram Mandir was not allowed citing politics of appeasement and law and order.
