Another church converted into a mosque in Turkiye

Chora Church

Ankara (Turkiye) – The Government of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who dreams of becoming the ‘Khalifa’ (supreme leader of Muslims) of Islamic countries, has begun the process of converting a church into mosque. The church is allegedly a symbol of Christian dominance over Muslims. This church in Istanbul, Turkey, is being converted into a mosque and the work is expected to be completed by May 2024, the Turkish Government announced. Earlier, Turkiye’ s Erdogan Government had converted the Hagia Sophia church into a mosque.

The said church was built in the 6th century by the Catholic community that has been demolished by Turkiye. According to the analysts, by converting Hagia Sophia and now Chora church into mosques, Erdogan is trying to show Islam’s supremacy over Christianity. Turks are converting one church after another into mosques.

Silence from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)

After the pranapratishtha of Shriramlalla in Ayodhya, the OIC had criticised. They said that the mosque was demolished and the temple was built. However, this organisation has remained silent while churches are being converted into mosques in Turkiye. (Hypocrisy of the OIC ! – Editor).

Editorial Perspective

In India, mosques were built on religious sites of Hindus. When Hindus claim those, religious fanatics get furious. What do they have to say about Turkiye’s actions ?
