Views openly expressed by Nikky Haley, a leader of Indian origin, in the USA

Washington (USA) – India wants to have a partnership with us. India doesn’t want to go with Russia, but the trouble is, India doesn’t believe in the US leadership, stated Nikki Haley, the Republican Party leader, aspiring for Presidential candidate in the USA, in an interview with Fox Business News. She was answering a question related to the USA allowing India to buy oil from Russia at a low cost.

India considers the USA as a weak nation. India has always been smart and has strategically stayed close to Russia and continued to get military equipment from them. The USA needs to overcome its weakness. – Nikki Haley

Nikki Haley said further –

  • Ukraine and its allies tried to keep other countries in the world away from Russia; still, the Central Asian countries imported oil from Russia. At the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war, western countries reduced their oil import from Russia. An officer from the White House said every sovereign country, including India, has a right to import oil from any country.
  • The USA needs to accept its flaws, only then; things will change for the better. We have to start building up alliances.
  • India and Japan have tried to reduce their dependence on China.

Editorial Perspective

What has the USA done for India that India should trust them ? The US has been making anti-India decisions for the past 75 years and is doing so even now. The USA has always betrayed India under the guise of friendship.
