Devout Hindu activists gathered for the march
Navi Mumbai – Sakal Hindu Samaj (SHS) took out a march to Nerul Police Station to protest against the kidnapping of a Hindu girl in case of love jihad.
BJP Office bearer Satish Nikam said –
A girl staying in Sector 15 at Nerul fell into a ‘Love Trap’ of a Muslim youth. The parents of the girl and activists of pro-Hindu organisations went to the Police Station to file an FIR; but the Police kept them engaged in talking and at the same time, the Muslim youth kidnapped the girl. Thus, the Police helped in the kidnapping.
The enraged pro-Hindu organisations took out a march to the Police Station in protest. In another case at Sanpada, a minor Hindu girl has been kidnapped. Many such cases are taking place in Navi Mumbai, but the Police are not taking any action.
The Popular Front of India (PFI)’s office was very close to the Nerul Police Station, which shows the incompetency of the Nerul Police. The National Investigation Agencies had raided and arrested Muslim youth from there who were engaged in anti-national activities.
Several unauthorised mosques and madarasas have come up in this area. The mosque near Nerul Station causes a traffic jam on Fridays due to namaz. Are the Police providing special protection to these people ? It is a tragedy that Hindus have to take to the streets to protest against such things.
A senior Police Inspector, Tanaji Bhagat of Nerul Police Station, promised to send a Police squad in search of the kidnapped girl, by filing a charge sheet.
Editorial Perspective
Had such a thing happened against the minority, the concerned Police Station would have been vandalised by them. |
