India cuts down financial aid to Maldives
Islamabad (Pakistan) – India has cut down financial aid to Maldives by 22%. Rs 600 crore has been allocated for the development of Maldives in 2024-25. Last year this amount was 770 crore. This aid was given for various projects. Since India has reduced the financial aid to Maldives, Pak has given assurance of financial aid to development projects in Maldives. The Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar Ul Haq Kakar gave this assurance over a telephonic conversation with the President of Maldives Mohammed Muizzu.
