Opposition party in Bangladesh is spearheading ‘India Out’ campaign
Dhaka (Bangladesh) – An anti-India campaign ‘India Out’ has been launched in Bangladesh. ‘Jan Adhikar Party’, associated to the main opposition ‘Bangladesh National Party (BNP)’, has started a campaign targeting Indian products through social media. People are requested to boycott Indian goods. Interestingly, Pinaki Bhattacharya, a born Hindu who hates Hindu Dharma, has started this campaign. Bhattacharya also supports religious fanatics in Bangladesh. Around 5 lakh people have participated in this campaign.

1.BNP claims that by supporting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the general elections, India meddled in their democratic process; that is the rationale behind the boycott campaign. India’s exports to Bangladesh are worth Rs 116 lakh crore per year.
2.Surprisingly, Bangladesh depends on India for many things, still such a campaign against Indian products is running.
Editorial Perspective
This is not surprising considering the radical Jihadi ideology of opposition party in Bangladesh; but the ruling Government of Sheikh Hasina should take strict action against these activists and end this campaign ! |
