Rs 36 lakh in cash seized from Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s Delhi residence

CM Soren missing for 2 days

Ranchi (Jharkhand) – A team from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) visited the Delhi residence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party on 29th January. Soren was not present at the residence, but the ED seized some important documents, Rs 36 lakh cash and a four-wheeler from there. Soren was missing for almost 2 days. Finally, on 30th January, he was found in Ranchi.

BJP announces reward for finding CM Soren

On the disappearance of Chief Minister Soren, BJP put up boards declaring Chief Minister Soren as ‘missing’. A reward worth Rs 11,000 was also announced to the one who could find Soren.

Rumours of Soren’s wife to be the next Chief Minister

Chief Minister Hemant Soren will be investigated by the ED in the land scam case. As per the rumours, if Soren is arrested in this case, his wife Kalpana Soren could be made the State Chief Minister.
