An earlier attempt to attack the Governor
There has been an ongoing dispute between the Governor and the Chief Minister of the Communist Government, Pinarayi Vijayan, about some appointments in Kerala University. The ‘Students Federation of India’ has been opposing the Governor in this matter. Last month some members of this organisation had attempted to attack the Governor. The Governor had alleged that the Chief Minister himself was behind this attack.
