Kerala Government orders inquiry into a school administration for declaring a holiday on the day of Pranapratishtha in Ayodhya

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – On 22^nd January 2024, the Pranapratishtha ceremony of Shriram Mandir took place in Ayodhya. This event marked a significant milestone in the cultural and religious fabric of the Nation. A holiday was declared in a school for adults in Kerala’s Kasaragod District on the occasion of Shriramlalla’s Pranapratishtha in Ayodhya. The Kerala Government has ordered an immediate inquiry into the incident, as no holiday was declared by the Government for the occasion. Nevertheless, the school declared a holiday, leading to the order for an inquiry.

The Public Education Secretary V Shivankutty has asked for a report from the Director General of Public Education on why was a holiday declared by the school administration without any directive from the General Education Department. A report was sought within 24 hours. This incident not only disrupts academic schedules but also raises questions about religious neutrality and proper communication within the education system.

Kerala Chief Minister refused to watch the ceremony

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan refused to watch Shriramlalla’s Pranapratishtha ceremony as an official State event. He said that he refused so as to protect the Constitution and is committed to following the principle of secularism in the Constitution to fulfil his constitutional responsibilities. (The secularism of these pseudo-secularists means hatred for Hindus and love for Muslims. If you love Hindus and scorn Muslims, it is against secularism, as has been attempted to be shown over the past 75 years. – Editor)

It is again evident that the Communist Government of Kerala has no affection for Shriram. Had it been the inauguration of a mosque instead of a temple, the Communist Government would have declared a holiday !
