Anti-Hindu foreign media criticise Shriramlalla’s consecration ceremony
Claims that building a temple in place of a mosque created fear among Muslims !
New Delhi – The news of the consecration ceremony of the idol of Shriramlalla in the Shriram Mandir in Ayodhya has been published not only by the local media, but also by the foreign media. As some of these media are already anti-Hindu and anti-India, they have published reports criticising the event. It has been claimed in these reports that this event has created an atmosphere of fear among the Muslims in India.
1. Britain’s BBC media reported that the Indian Prime Minister inaugurated a temple in the place of the demolished mosque. (Please note that the BBC does not tell that the mosque was built by demolishing the temple ! – Editor) Some Muslims told us that the consecration ceremony has brought back painful memories. (Please note that while the BBC hears what some Muslims have to say, it doesn’t take into account what crores of Hindus think ! – Editor)
2. Qatar’s Al Jazeera in the headline of the news said, ‘As Modi unveils Ram temple, Indian Muslims fear future’. Quoting a Muslim woman from Ayodhya, it said, ‘I was jeered [at] and taunted. And people started chanting Jai Shree Ram [victory to Lord Ram]. I got a sense of aggressive triumphalism’. (These jihadi media will never mention that other Muslims in Ayodhya have supported the temple ! – Editor) Missing from news channels and popular discourse is any reference to the fact that the temple is coming up at the very spot where the 16th-century Babri Masjid was torn down by a Hindu nationalist mob on a grey winter morning in December 1992.

3. Pakistan’s Dawn News wrote that India’s Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the temple that embodies the triumph of his muscular Hindu nationalist politics. Modi, in flowing golden-coloured traditional dress, unveiled the black stone Idol of the Deity Ram in the heart of the 50-metre temple, built on grounds where a mosque stood for centuries before it was torn down in 1992 by Hindu zealots incited by members of his party. 4. The New York Times said, ‘Modi Opens a Giant Temple in a Triumph for India’s Hindu Nationalists’. It further said that Modi accomplished the goal of establishing Hindu supremacy in India; but for the country’s 200 million Muslims, the Ram temple has reinforced a sense of despair and dislocation. (The New York Times being an anti-Hindu and anti-India newspaper, no different can be expected from it ! – Editor) The Hindu right wing has ridden the Ram movement to become India’s dominant political force. The opening of the temple, built over 70 acres at a cost of nearly $250 million, marks the unofficial start of Mr. Modi’s campaign for a third term, in an election expected in the spring.

5. CNN has written that Modi hails a new ‘divine India’ as he inaugurates controversial Hindu temple. Millions tuned in across India to watch the opening of a vast Hindu temple on Monday. The inauguration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in northern India’s Ayodhya is expected to give a major boost to Modi’s election campaign. The Ram Mandir is the realization of Modi’s dream to create what he has called a “new India,” which many consider to be the transformation of the country into a distinctly Hindu nation. Modi did not directly mention the Babri Masjid in his speech, nor the country’s Muslims, many of whom feel pain and sadness at the events that have unfolded in Ayodhya. He did speak of moving forward and “the beginning of a new time cycle.”
Editorial Viewpoint
Since the foreign and Islamic media have long-standing hatred towards India and Hindus, they are always deliberately target both ! Indians should boycott such media and the Government of India should hold them accountable ! |
