Ayodhya set to beat the number of visitors in Vatican and Mecca
Ayodhya (UP)- After the pranapratishtha ceremony, Shriram Temple has been opened for public from 23rd January. An estimated 1 lakh devotees may arrive every day for Darshan in Ayodhya, which means in the next six months, the number of visitors may reach 2 crore. Shriram Temple may receive a greater number of pilgrims than Amritsar’s Golden Temple and Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh.
By the afternoon of January 23rd, 300,000 Hindus have taken Darshan of Ramlalla.
Devotees gathered outside the temple even with the temperature at 6 degrees Celsius.

Every year, 3.5 crore pilgrims visit the Golden Temple and 3 crore pilgrims visit Tirupati Balaji Temple. Globally, Vatican City has nearly 90 lakh visitors and Mecca, Saudi Arabia has 2 crore visitors every year. Ayodhya will overtake the world’s most prominent religious tourist places in next one year. This will create new employment opportunities. With the construction of Shriram Temple, Ayodhya is set to become a major economic hub. Uttar Pradesh Government may have an additional income worth 25,000 crore by 2025.
