Sanatan Sanstha’s spiritual involvement in the establishment of Shriram Temple in Ayodhya
For the establishment of Shriram Temple in Shriram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya, various efforts have been undertaken, encompassing Karseva, legal and political battles, prachar, awareness campaigns, and donations. Since this struggle is a matter of self-respect of Hindus, everyone has contributed as per their capacity. The Sanatan Sanstha’s contribution in this Ram karya(seva) was also of a spiritual nature.
Saints possessing spiritual authority or spiritual institutions operate on the spiritual plane. Such karya is never publicised. The Sanatan Sanstha is among those engaging in such spiritual pursuits. When profound and divine events unfold, numerous actions transpire at the spiritual level, each carrying its own significance. This article aims to provide information for those operating on the physical, mental, and intellectual levels, offering insights into these spiritual undertakings.
In 2010, Allahabad High Court was poised to deliver its verdict on the Shriram Janmabhoomi case, at that time Sanatan Sanstha appealed to all seekers and society to pray for the verdict of Shriram Janmabhoomi case to be in favour of Hindu community. (Prayer, in this context, refers to invoking or remembering Prabhu Shriram with intense spiritual emotion. Such deep spiritual emotion can be expressed only by the devotees, seekers of God and Saints.)
Owing to the prolonged deliberation of the Shriram Janmabhoomi case in the Supreme Court, the Sanatan Sanstha initiated ‘Shriramnam Sankirtan Abhiyan’ nationwide in January 2019. The objective was to imbue this legal battle with spiritual strength, expediting the delivery of a verdict. The campaign sought to infuse spiritual energy into the legal proceedings through the chanting of Shriram’s name.
During the period of 11 months from January 2019 to 9th November 2019, Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Nilesh Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Mukul Gadgil, spiritual successors of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale, founder of Sanatan Sanstha, embarked on a journey across the country. During this period, they conducted Anushthan and Yagyas at numerous pilgrimage sites.
On 9th November 2019, the day of the judgment in the Supreme Court and during the actual announcement of the verdict, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil performed an Anushthan in front of Tirupati Balaji, following the instructions given by Maharshi.
On 10th November 2019, the day following the judgment, Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil visited Ayodhya and conducted an Anushthan. The purpose was to invoke divine blessings for the swift construction of a magnificent temple at Shriram Janmabhoomi.
On 31st July 2020, following Maharshi’s instructions conveyed through Saptarshi Jeevanadipatti, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil visited Ayodhya on behalf of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale, the founder of Sanatan Sanstha and made a donation of gold for the Bhoomi pujan of Shriram Temple to Mr Champat Rai, Secretary of Shriram Janmabhoomi Temple Trust. For this, 5 gold beads were crafted according to Maharshi’s instructions to symbolise the Panchamahabhuta.
On that very day, Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil handed over soil from Kailash Mountain (the abode of Deity Shiva), soil from Kailash Charansparsha, soil from Kailash Gaurikund and water from Mansarovar to Mr Champat Rai, Secretary of Shriram Janmabhoomi Temple Trust, for Shriram Temple Bhoomi pujan.
Since 15th January 2024, the seekers of Sanatan Sanstha have been engaging in prayers and conducting Anushthan, with the aim of ensuring that the consecration ceremony at the Shriram Temple in Ayodhya proceeds smoothly.
