Kolkata (Bengal) – The Bengal Police had denied permission to telecast the grand inauguration ceremony of Ayodhya’s Shriram Temple on 22nd January live in Kolkata. A petition was filed in the Calcutta High Court against this, after which the Court has given permission to live telecast the event and dismissed the Police order. This telecast is being organised by the ‘Kalighat Bahumukhi Seva Samiti’. While granting permission, the Court has said that this telecast should be conducted from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. in the Deshpran Sashmal Park in South Kolkata. Earlier, this telecast was to be held near Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s house.

Editorial Perspective
It has been proven time and again that the Trinamool Congress Government in Bengal is anti-Shriram ! Please note that the Government had also denied permission to the Shriram Navami processions last year. |
