Attack on a devout Hindu while distributing Akshata at Puttur, Karnataka

Puttur (Karnataka) – On the occasion of the inauguration of Shriram Temple in Ayodhya, when Akshatas are being distributed from house-to-house with enthusiasm, an incident of attack on the facilitator of Akshata distribution took place here recently.

Santosh, member of a Hindu organisation and facilitator of Akshata distribution, was distributing Akshata from door to door in Mundur. At that time he was attacked by a group which opposed the distribution of Akshata. Santosh’s mother who came to his rescue was also attacked. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Local resident Dhananjay and his group have committed this act. Former Puttur MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor condemned the attack and called it a political attack .He demanded that the Police should immediately arrest the culprits. The Police are investigating the matter.

Since the Shriram Mandir-hating Congress is in power in Karnataka, such incidents are unsurprising.

Editorial Perspectives

• The incident is not surprising since Congress Government which is against the Shriram Temple is ruling in Karnataka. Hindus must wipe out the Congress party politically through elections !

• Shriram devotees are being attacked despite millions of them spread across the country. This is because Hindus lack effective organisation, which is the only solution to this problem.
