Dr Anil Mishra, a member of Shriram Janmabhoomi Trust, is the main host for consecration rituals at Shriram Temple

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – According to recent information, Dr Anil Mishra, a member of the Shriram Janmabhoomi Trust, is the main host (Yajman) for the consecration rituals at the Shriram Temple in Ayodhya and not the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dr Mishra is going to grace the position of the main host in the consecration rituals that began on 16th January. On 22nd January, Prime Minister will grace the position of the special host during the consecration ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, Trust Chairman Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, H.H. Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohanji Bhagwat, Dr Anil Mishra and his wife will be present in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple during the consecration ceremony. Prime Minister Modi will offer the naivedya food (sacred food offered to a Deity) and perform Aarati of Shriram Lalla.

Dr Anil Mishra participated in the prayaschitta pooja (penance) held on 16th January. He will be the host for next 7 days. The rituals began on 16th January at the Vivek Srishti Ashram in Ayodhya. The pandits from Kashi began the rituals after a sacred dip in the holy Sarayu river. The main host Dr Anil Mishra and the sculptor of the idol Arun Yogiraj were present there. These rituals will continue till 21st January.
