If India becomes a Hindu Rashtra, it will become like Pakistan and Afghanistan – Yathindra Siddaramaiah

Davanagere (Karnataka) – “Some people are trying to make our country a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. These people should take the example of theocratic Pakistan and Afghanistan. These countries have become bankrupt in the name of religion. India will have the same fate if it leaves the path of secularism”, said Yathindra Siddaramaiah, former Congress Minister and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son.

Yathindra further said, “BJP and its parent organisation RSS are a threat to secularism. One needs to be wary of parties playing politics in the name of religion.”
