All the religions must be equal for the Chief Minister – MP Asaduddin Owaisi

Mumbai – “Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is planning to remove the Haji Malang Dargah. How can a chief minister make such a statement ? He is the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and should be impartial to all religions, be it Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Buddhist. All should be equal in his eyes. Despite being the Chief Minister, how could he make such frivolous statements ?”, asked an opportunist Asaduddin Owaisi, head of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), while speaking to journalists. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was present at Malanggad in Thane District on 2nd January for the Akhand Harinam Saptah at the shrine of Shri Machhindranath. At that time, he made a statement about ‘liberating Malanggad.’ In response, Owaisi expressed a vehement criticism in the above words. The Waqf Board has claimed ownership of Malanggad.

Asaduddin Owaisi further stated, “Backed by the BJP, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde plans to remove the Haji Malang Dargah, which is 200 to 300 years old. Following the Supreme Court’s decision in the Babri Masjid case, these people’s confidence has increased. There is an attempt to spread chaos in the country after that verdict. Incendiary statements are on the rise, trying to incite people. The Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Union Ministers are consistently making such statements. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should clarify his position on this matter. It’s his responsibility.” (Before asking Hindus to clarify their position, why doesn’t Owaisi dare to question those who have grabbed Hindu lands through the Waqf Board ? – Editor)

All the encroachments on religious and historic sites will be removed – Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Editorial Perspective

Why didn’t Owaisi remember this principle while enjoying the special privileges received from the Government for so many years under the tag of ‘minority community’ ? Why doesn’t Owaisi preach this philosophy when his religious brethren spew venom against Hindu Dharma, attack Hindu religious sites, engage in Love Jihad and force religious conversions on Hindus ? Hindus are aware of those who conveniently use the principle of secularism to suit their needs !
