Spiritual research on the correct method of chopping vegetables – Research by Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay

Spiritual Research by Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay

The Universal Aura Scanner (UAS) was developed in 2005 by Dr. Mannem Murthy, a former nuclear scientist from Telengana. By using this instrument the energy and the aura of an object, a premises, an animal or an individual can be measured.

On behalf of Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay, research is being done on the ideal cooking techniques, cooking ingredients, cooking methods, etc. The findings of this research, show how ideal the rules set by Hindu dharma are, and how relevant they are, even in today’s modern times. Given ahead is one such research study.

Usually chapati, vegetable, lentil curry (dal), rice, chutney, salad is prepared in a household on a daily basis. After buying food grain, vegetables, etc they are sorted, cleaned etc. All such actions performed during the preparation of food have an effect on the food. Therefore, it is necessary that all actions like chopping vegetables, cooking etc must be done in a spiritually correct manner.

Most women use a knife for chopping, while some do chopping by sitting on a traditional wooden stool with a cutter. Some vegetables like french beans etc. can be broken with fingers. Research was done using the UAS (Universal Aura Scanner) to study the spiritual effect of using a knife, a traditional cutter and breaking vegetables using fingers. The effect was studied on the vegetables, as well as on the individual doing the chopping. The interpretation and analysis of the observations in this study are given ahead.

Mr. Ashish Sawant using the U.A.S. device for the experiment

1. Interpretation of the observations in the study : Most households buy vegetables from the market, some grow a few selected vegetables in the kitchen garden or terrace. For this study, french beans from a kitchen garden were chosen. For comparison, the same vegetable was also bought from the market in that area.

2. The vegetable (french beans) from the market contained a lot of negative energy, whereas the kitchen garden vegetables were found to have a lot of positive energy : The french beans bought from the market did not have any positive energy and had a high negative energy aura of 12-16 metres. On the contrary, those from the kitchen garden did not contain any negative energy but had a high positive energy aura of 7.22 metres. Other vegetables bought from the market like, onion, potato, cucumber, tomato, ginger, garlic, spinach were also studied. Here the observations were that the vegetables from the market had a negative energy aura ranging from 4-11 metres, and positive energy aura from 0.80-2 metres. Also, after chopping these vegetables with a knife, their negative energy aura increased and the positive energy either decreased or disappeared completely.

2 A. Analysis : The reason for the negative energy aura in the vegetables from the market was due to various factors like the raja-tama predominant environment in the market, the inappropriate storage area, inappropriate handling etc. In the market, vegetables absorb Raja-Tama vibrations and develop a covering of distressing vibrations. By sorting and cleaning the vegetables they are physically cleaned and by blowing holy ash or sprinkling with holy ash water along with prayers and chanting, the covering of distressing vibrations is removed and they prove spiritually beneficial for one’s health.

3. Effect on vegetables after cutting in different ways : In this study, french beans from a kitchen garden of a home were cut in three different ways and their readings taken.

Different ways of cutting vegetable
(French beans)
Negative Energy Aura (metres) Positive energy aura
(metres)
Infrared Energy Ultraviolet Energy
Chopping with a knife 14.65 9.42 0.84
Chopping with a traditional cutter 1.00 0 4.75
Breaking with fingers 0 0 6.27

From the above table, we can conclude the following

 1. The vegetable chopped with a knife had a lot of negative energy and very little positive energy.

2. The vegetable chopped with a traditional cutter had very little negative energy and more positive energy

3. The vegetable broken with fingers did not have any negative energy and had maximum positive energy.

This implies that instead of chopping vegetables with a knife, chopping them with a traditional cutter or breaking them with fingers is more beneficial.

3 A. Analysis : The sound generated during the process of chopping vegetables creates subtle distressing vibrations in the atmosphere which get absorbed in the vegetables. So, praying and chanting and chopping in a sattvik manner (Note) is necessary while chopping vegetables.

Note – Information on the techniques of chopping vegetables, their size, shape etc to make them sattvik has been given in another article.

4. The effect of cutting a vegetable in different ways, on a lady seeker  : Readings of a seeker before and after cutting a vegetable are given ahead

Lady seeker Negative energy aura of lady seeker (metres) Positive energy aura of lady seeker (metres)
Infrared energy Ultraviolet energy
Chopping the vegetable with a knife Before cutting 9.56 0 10.54
After cutting 11.96 0 6.37
Chopping the vegetable with a   traditional cutter Before cutting 10.00 0 10.54
After cutting 2.04 0 13.13
Breaking the vegetable with fingers Before 11.56 0 8.70
After 0 0 11.30

Following is the conclusion from the above table.

1. By chopping the vegetable with a knife there was 25 percent increase in the lady seeker’s negative energy and 40 percent reduction in her positive energy.

1 A. Analysis : While chopping a vegetable with a knife, the knife is moved from front to back, this movement generates distressing vibrations in the environment.  Also chopping is generally done in a standing position and hence there is no protective posture (mudra) for the body of the individual so the thoughts in the mind (Raja predominant) increase. This has an adverse effect on the individual chopping the vegetable.

2. By chopping the vegetable on the traditional cutter, the negative energy of the lady seeker reduced by 80 percent and her positive energy increased by 25 percent.

2 A. Analysis : While chopping the vegetable on the traditional cutter in a squatting position, the right knee is pulled up towards the abdomen. Due to this posture (mudra) the raja predominant thoughts get controlled and chopping is not affected by any distressing vibrations. The vegetables are chopped from above downwards so if any distressing vibrations are generated with the chopping sound then they disintegrate in the ground, instantaneously.

3. By breaking the french beans with the fingers the negative energy in the lady seeker disappeared and her positive energy increased by 30 percent.

3 A. Analysis : When vegetables are chopped with a knife distressing vibrations are generated whereas no distressing vibrations are generated when they are broken with fingers. Therefore, neither the vegetable, nor the one doing it get affected negatively. However, only few types of vegetables can be broken with the fingers so at least those vegetables, should be broken with the fingers along with prayers and chanting.

In short, as per the above analysis instead of chopping vegetables with a knife, chopping on a traditional cutter in a sitting position, or breaking the vegetables using fingers is beneficial.

Due to knee pain or some other physical problem, if chopping by sitting on a traditional cutter is not possible then one can chop with a knife while praying and chanting, this will create a protective covering from distressing vibrations. However, if possible then chopping on the traditional cutter along with chanting and prayers is the most beneficial.
