Thousands of Baloch citizens took to the streets against genocide
Protestors move towards the capital Islamabad
Islamabad (Pakistan) – Thousands of Baloch citizens have taken to the streets against the genocide and disappearance of Baloch citizens in Pakistan. The march has been going on for the past few days and the citizens are moving towards the capital Islamabad. It started from Turbat in Balochistan and has now reached Taunsa near Islamabad. Earlier, when the march reached Dera Ghazi Khan, 20 Baloch protestors were arrested.
When the march reached Taunsa, Pakhtun nationalist leader Ali Wazir called for the Baloch unity. Baloch Yakjehti Committee informed that the next line of action would be announced as soon as the march reaches Islamabad. Political leader Mehrang Baloch said that this agitation is the voice of unity against the Government. It is alleged that the Pakistani agencies abducted 8 more Baloch citizens from Dera Bugti and Kech Districts of Balochistan, and took them to unknown locations.
