New Delhi – After US President Joe Biden declined to attend India’s Republic Day programme on 26th January 2024, India has invited French President Emmanuel Macron. If Macron accepts India’s invitation, it will be the sixth time the French President will attend India’s Republic Day event. This year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated as the chief guest in France’s Bastille Day Parade. He was the second Indian Prime Minister to participate in this parade. 269 soldiers of the ‘Marching’units of all three armies of India participated in this parade. It has been reported that President Joe Biden will not be able to attend India’s Republic Day event on 26 th January as he is busy with other events.
