Geert Wilders thanked India and especially the Hindus

Amsterdam (Netherlands) – Right-wing lawmaker Geert Wilders, who won a landslide victory in the general election in the Netherlands, has reacted to the congratulatory messages he has received from around the world. Wilders thanked everyone by posting a message on his official X account. He has thanked India and especially the Hindus. Geert Wilders said in his message that ‘I will always stand by Hindus who are attacked in Islamic countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh for being Hindus only’.

Geert Wilders is a right-wing nationalist leader in the Netherlands. Recently he made statements about banning the Quran and Muslims being second class citizens. He was criticised for it. Geert Wilders is the founder of ‘Party for Freedom’. He has often described Islam as a threat to Dutch culture and Western values. He has also faced legal challenges due to some controversial statements. He advocates expelling Muslims from the Netherlands and making it ‘Islam-free’.
