Khalistanis burn Indian national flag outside Indian Embassy in Toronto, Canada

Toronto (Canada) – Khalistani protesters demonstrated outside the Indian Embassy here, igniting controversy by disrespecting the Indian national flag through the act of burning it. Surprisingly, law enforcement authorities refrained from intervening. Furthermore, the protesters expressed their objection towards the recently erected 55-feet tall statue of Deity Hanuman in Brampton, Canada. This colossal statue is set to be officially inaugurated on 23rd April 2024, coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti, following its consecration at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton.
During the protest, Khalistani demonstrators deliberately desecrated the Indian national flag by placing it on the ground and disrespectfully stepping on it before proceeding to set it on fire. Alongside this, they vehemently called for the arrest of Indian diplomatic officer Sanjay Kumar Verma, linking him to the alleged murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The protesters went on to accuse Indian Hindus of disloyalty to Canada, raising the contentious question: ‘Given such circumstances, should the installation of their revered Deity Hanuman’s statue be permitted in Canada ?’ (It is ridiculous that Khalistanis, who deceived India, are talking about loyalty – Editor)
