100 people died after being bitten by stray dogs in Maharashtra in 4 years
Nearly 25 lakh people bitten by dogs
Mumbai – From January 2019 to 30th October 2023, 25 lakh people got bitten by stray dogs. Among them, 100 died. In the first 10 months of this year, 19 people died. The problem of stray dogs exists in cities and villages to a large extent. This news is published on the website of the Maharashtra Times. Although efforts are being made to sterilise dogs to prevent them from breeding, they are largely inadequate. According to the overall statistics, males are more likely to die from dog bites than females.
