Pakistan demolishes Sharada Peeth temple in PoK
‘Coffee House’ constructed on the temple land
Karachi (Pakistan) – All Hindu temples are being targeted one after another in Pakistan. Pakistan demolished the ancient Sharada Peeth Temple in Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The temple’s land has been forcibly taken over and a ‘Coffee House’ has been built on the same. Pakistan’s Supreme Court had instructed to safeguard this temple; still, the temple was demolished disregarding the Court order. This ancient temple was a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) site.
Shri Hinglaj Mata Temple was recently destroyed in Pakistan’s Sindh Province, which too was a UNESCO site to be preserved. In July 2023, the Shri Mari Mata Temple was demolished in Pakistan.
