Enlightening thoughts presented by devout Hindus in various sessions of World Hindu Congress
The Bengal violence in 2021 was as brutal as the ‘Direct Action Day’ by Muslims in 1946 – Nupur Sharma, Editor-in-Chief, OpIndia
Nupur Sharma, Editor-in-Chief of OpIndia, a pro-Hindu news website, addressed the World Hindu Congress. She highlighted the horrific violence against Hindus that followed the Bengal Assembly elections in 2021. She said, “The violence in the year 2021 was as brutal as the ‘Direct Action Day’ of 1946. I have spoken to minor victims who were gang raped and thrown on the streets. They took shelter in Temples. This went on for days. Trinamool Congress Muslim workers were tearing the clothes of young Hindu girls walking on the streets. None of us could report about these events because the victims would not come on record. The Police would not file an FIR. Even the National Human Rights Commission has never understood the plight of these victims. No one came to the aid of these victims”.

Started debate shows challenging anti-national ideology on ‘DD News’ – Ashok Shrivastav, Editor, DD News
Ashok Shrivastav, Senior Editor of DD News
Ashok Shrivastav, Senior Editor of DD News, speaking on the topic ‘Whether media is performing its Dharma or not ?’ stated, “Earlier, there was no place for debate shows on DD News. Therefore, we could not ask questions that challenged any ideology. Our job was only to broadcast plain news. In 2016, I met with then Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley. I told him that this is a war against India and that Doordarshan, the national broadcaster (Government news channel) of this country should have a role to play in this and take a stand. Anti-national ideologies should be challenged by DD News. I got permission for this and since then the debate shows started on DD News. This was a new beginning for DD News. Due to this programme, many changes were made in Doordarshan. (Nationalist editors like Ashok Shrivastav, who strive for the Nation are the real strength of the country – Editor)
Bharat (India) is the oldest civilisation in the world – Vivek Agnihotri, Film Producer
Film Producer Vivek Agnihotri said in his speech, “Bharat(India) is the world’s oldest civilisation & a democratic country. In 2023, the anti-Hindu community calling Indians ‘KAFIR’, slogans like ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ (beheading) are being used rampantly and its social media approval is appalling. As a storyteller, I am ashamed of these statements. Except during election time, politicians will not raise these issues. People who worked for centuries for the cause of Dharma went underground. That is why I decided to make films that shed light on the plight of Hindus”.

Conspiracy to create the plot of ‘Hindu Terror’ basis 26/11 attack – Swati Goyal Sharma, Senior Editor, Swarajya Mag
Swati Goyal Sharma, Senior Editor of Swarajya Mag, a pro-Hindu news website, spoke on the topic of ‘Countering fake narratives and usual tropes used to mask anti-Hindu hate crimes’. Regarding the conspiracy created in the name of ‘Hindu Terror’, she said, “During the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai in 2008, the plot was created in such a way that Jihadi terrorist Ajmal Kasab will die as a Hindu named Sameer Chaudhary. This plot was foiled only because of Tukaram Omble, a Police officer who was martyred at that time. Otherwise, the real truth would have been buried along with the death of Kasab and the ‘Hindu Terror’ theory would have gotten a boost”.

Giving another example, Sharma said that, “A Hindu teacher named Ramesh Shukla was murdered in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh 7 years ago. As his killers could not be traced, the Police closed the case. Three men who wanted to join ISIS identified Ramesh Shukla by his tilak and attire as a Hindu and killed him to make a video, which was sent through a messaging app to their handlers in Syria, just to prove that, they are capable of killing a Kafir. Recently, truth came out when the killers got death sentence from a NIA Court”.
The Sikh Sect was formed to protect Hindu Dharma – Anilesh Mahajan, Deputy Editor, India Today
India Today’s Deputy Editor, Anilesh Mahajan, speaking on topic of Bhagat Singh being portrayed recently as a communist, stated that many of us don’t know that Bhagat Singh was not a communist. It is in the last 80-90 years, that there has been a narrative that during his jail term he became a communist because he was influenced by Lenin. This is selective story telling because Bhagat Singh was not only reading one book but also five books. He was reading about Veer Savarkar’s work, Maharana Pratap’s life, Heer Ranjha’s story and one of the books was about how Lenin led the Russian revolution. We also have to understand that at that time, Lenin was the hero of all the anti-imperialist forces who wanted to set their country free from the imperialists.

Speaking further on the conversions in Punjab, Anilesh Mahajan stated that he took to his platform to expose how conversions are happening in Punjab. About how Sikhs, who are a warrior community, have been converted to a crude form of Christianity. There is a deliberate attempt happening in Punjab where a large section of the community is deliberately being taken away from the Hindu Dharma. We all know that the Sikh Sect was formed to protect Hindu Dharma, and now there is a full-fledged conspiracy which is going on in that State where Sikhs are being taken away from Hindu Dharma. Therefore, I reported the changes that are happening in Sikh society.
