Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – “Does NCERT and the Government, by including Ramayana and Mahabharata in curriculum, want to promote the plight of great women like Sita, Shurpanakha and Draupadi ? While Sita suffered even after going through the ordeal of Agni pariksha, Shurpanakha got her nose and ears chopped after a marriage proposal and Draupadi was disrobed and humiliated,” tweeted Maurya. He responded to the Government’s proposal to include Ramayan and Mahabharat in the school curriculum.
Maurya added in the tweet –
A brother tried to instigate a fight with another brother, while another tried to make them fight among themselves. Is the Government encouraging divisiveness in the society. (It can be seen that Maurya is trying to instigate fights among society. The outcome of such people is clearly told in the above Scriptures. – Editor)

Now a days fights between castes and oppression of women is increasing. Dalit, Scheduled Tribes, OBC, and women are being harassed. Beating up of children for not paying the fees. Gang rapes of women. Hacking the women to pieces after raping them. (Why does Maurya not say that all the party’s in Government are responsible for this ? – Editor)
If there is to be change in the education policy then the history of national leaders and brave sons of soil should be taught. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Rani Lakshmibai, Chandrashekhar Azad, Sardar Bhagat Singh, and other national heroes should be included in the list. (Their life story is being taught, but Shriram and Shrikrushna’s story is not being taught. This will now be taught. That is why people like Maurya are frustrated. – Editor)
