Maulana Syed Arshad Madani demands separate schools for Muslim girls
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Syed Arshad Madani urged the Muslim community to establish separate schools for Muslim girls after Class 8 in India. He was speaking at a one-day conference held in Deoband by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. At least 500 delegates from 17 Districts of western UP participated in the conference, where discussions were also held on eradicating communalism, protecting the environment, convening voter awareness campaigns, and adding new names to the voter lists.
This seminar was organised at the Madani Memorial School on Idgah Road. Maulana Ashad Rashidi, the provincial president, presided over the conference, and Maulana Mufti Khadimul Islam conducted the proceedings and said, the main objective of the establishment of the Jamait-i-Hind was the protection of Islamic tenets along with service of the Nation and the State. The Jamiat is in the battle for strengthening of democracy. At this conference, notable personalities like Maulana Habibullah Madani, Maulana Azhar Madani, Maulana Mufti Khadimul Islam, Hafiz Abdul Qudoos Hadi, and Asif Quraishi were present.
