BSF soldier killed in firing by Pakistani Army in Jammu
3rd ceasefire violation by Pakistan in last 3 weeks
Srinagar (J&K) – A Border Security Force (BSF) soldier named Lal Fam Kima was injured in the firing by the Pakistani Army on the morning of 9th November in Samba District. He succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment in the hospital. A BSF officer informed that the firing took place at the Narayanpur post on the international border in the Ramgarh sector. This is the 3rd ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the last 3 weeks.
In another incident, an encounter took place between the Indian Army and terrorists in the Kathohalan area of Shopian on the night of 8th November. A terrorist belonging to ‘The Resistance Front (TRF)’, a terrorist organization, was killed in the encounter.
