New Delhi – Slavoj Zizek (Žižek), a communist thinker from the European country of Slovenia, has made an offensive statement about the Shrimadbhagawadgeeta. A video in this regard has been circulated by the X account titled ‘Year of the Kraken’. In the video Zizek called the Geeta ‘one of the most obscene and disgusting religious books in the world’.
Criticised from the scene in the movie Oppenheimer
Shrimadbhagawadgeeta was displayed next to the actors during a sexual intercourse scene in the film Oppenheimer. Criticising this scene, Zizek said, “There was a lot of uproar in India due to this scene. The Shrimadbhagawadgeeta was shown on the sidelines while doing dirty obscene acts, the Indians expressed outrage. I agree with them; but in the opposite sense. They waste a moment reading this dirty Holy book in the middle of doing a beautiful act like love.’
Claims that Shrimadbhagawadgeeta caused the genocide by the Nazis
Zizek claimed that the infamous Nazi officer Heinrich Himmler carried a copy of the Holy Geeta with him at all times. When Himmler was asked, ‘You are doing a terrible thing. You are killing women and children. How can you do this when you are human ? His only answer was, Shrimadbhagawadgeeta.
Editorial Perspective
People who have never understood Hindus’ religious Scriptures criticise like this. Please note that communist thinkers who call themselves atheists never open their mouths regarding which book makes religious jihadi terrorists and which book makes Church pastors lustful. |
