Muslims attack a Russian airport shouting ‘Allah-hu-Akbar’

Rumours of Israeli citizens and Jews arrived at the airport by a plane

Moscow (Russia) – Muslims attacked the Dagestan Airport in the Muslim-majority city of Makhachkala due to a rumour that ‘Israeli Jews have arrived at the airport by a plane’. The attackers entered the runway and were shouting Allah-hu-Akbar. The air services have been suspended after the attack. A video of the attack has gone viral on social media. A plane was scheduled to arrive at this airport from Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel; but after this incident, it has been diverted to another city.

After the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement, ‘We hope that the Russian authorities will protect all Israeli citizens and Jews and take action against the attackers’.
