Every temple to register a case against those who talk of eradicating Sanatan Dharma
Mumbai – The 3rd State-level meet of Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh was held at Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak, Dadar (W) last month. The meeting was organised by the GSB Temple Trust and the Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak. A proposal was passed in this meeting to register cases against DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, A Raja, Congress Minister Priyank Kharge and journalist Nikhil Wagle for their hate speech on eradicating Hindu Dharma.
Mr Sunil Ghanwat (Coordinator of Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh and State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh) apprised the attendees about the activities, agitations and the success achieved by the Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh over the past six months. The participating temple trustees also presented an overview of the work they had accomplished.
Temple trustees should make a concerted effort to free temples from Government control : Sunil Ghanwat
Temples are centres to spread knowledge on Hindu Dharma. Today, more than 175 temples in Maharashtra have implemented a sattvik dress code. More efforts are required to turn this into a National movement. Mr Ghanwat asserted that the temple trustees should make a concerted effort to ensure that the temples are freed from Government control and to create awareness on the Waqf Board’s ploy to usurp temple land.
The trustees of various temples present in the meeting and the leaders of the Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh decided to unitedly act to prevent the attacks taking place on temple traditions, and to take swift steps to stop the massive loot of devotees by temples under Government control.
Besides the trustees of various temples, other dignitaries present included H.H. (Adv.) Suresh Kulkarni (Founder Member, Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad), Mr Chetan Rajhans (National Spokes-person of Sanatan Sanstha), Mr Ramesh Shinde (National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti).
Remember
Hindu Temples are the de facto spiritual, psychological and community support centres, which serve to unite all Hindus. Hindu Temples are living institutions which ensure the survival of the traditions, customs, and communities associated with it.
